Queer-themed art exhibition ‘Presence’ sparks fresh debate

Written by Blythe Allan

Art exhibition Presence is winding up to critical acclaim at Melbourne’s Blindside gallery, prompting local demand for further queer and minority group based art shows.

The exhibition, curated by Zoë Bastin and Brigid Hansen, seeks to challenge trends of heteronormative and westernised art by focusing on queer community notions of the body.
