A Frankston shop owner says construction on Young Street has cost her around 70 per cent of her business.

Owner Natalie Waterworth says the construction work is blocking entrances to her shop, and noise and dust is putting people off shopping in the area.

The Frankston Council is looking into ways of supporting the Young Street traders during the ongoing construction works, which were originally meant to finish four months ago.

Ms Waterworth has written an emotional post on Facebook, saying she has earnt as little as two dollars for a day’s trade in her boutique, Eliza Doolittles.
