Barking round the bend

Imagine running as fast as Usain Bolt and maintaining this speed for 3km. Only, instead of being on a track, you’re speeding through mud, puddles and around hairpin bends. It is a superhuman feat. But for some, it is possible.

Husky racing, a little known sport in Australia, has doubled in popularity over the past three years. The number of mushers competing has increased by 50 per cent.
