5 Things Not To Do At Kick Ons

No exes allowed
Sleep deprivation see’s fragility levels surge to an all time high. Exes are the last thing you want to think about while continuing on. So if you’re leaving the club and that person asks “what are you guys doing after” save the tears and tell them you’re just going home.

Bring your own drinks

No one likes a scab, even if they’re your close friends. So avoid being the kick ons antagonist and come with your own drinks. Hot tip: it will give you more license to scab in the future.

When it comes to music, read the room(!)

This is subjective to who you’re with, where you’ve come from and where you want to ‘go’, so to speak. Sometimes more sophisticated electronic dance music is the thing, sometimes people perceive that to be pretentious and want some straight up pop bangers. One thing is for certain though, absolutely no silence.

Let’s not watch something yeah?

You’re here to hang out and keep the party going on. It’s NOT the time and place to watch a film or TV show, and if you go down the road the chances are it will be potentially fun for a small amount of people and torture for everyone else.

Sleeping.

Straight up: if you’re gonna go to sleep just go home. Kick ons is a heavy drain on resources that are better spent on the awake.
