7 ways to kick start your day back at Uni

  1. “Get yo self a planner”

First things first boys and girls is to get yourself a planner. I know this might sound cliché, but it helps you plan your week at Uni and Work without calling in a sickie due to an overload of assignments.

 2.    Write down all your important dates.

Whether or not it’s an important 21st you have to attend, always take time to write down all of your important dates throughout the semester. This gives you an idea of what you’ve got on either during the week or month. Try to include your working days as well just to be sure you don’t forget them.

 3.    Find out your assignment due dates

Knowing what assignments you have throughout the semester helps you plan your time more efficiently. That way you can prioritise your week and focus on what’s important.

 4.    Be active

Uni can be very stressful! But don’t let this stop you from getting a workout session done at the gym or even going for a brisk walk at the park. Being active is a good way to relieve stress and a great way to take your mind of Uni work etc. So what are you waiting for? Go put on them Nikes. Its time to break a sweat!!

5.    Study breaks

Hold up… Have a Break! Have a Kit Kat! Don’t forget to take small 10-minute study breaks. No one in their right mind can sit at a desk and concentrate for a solid hour (if you can, you are a gifted human being). Let’s face it, after an hour you are probably going to end up procrastinating.

6.     Socialise

Although time is of an essence. Always take the time to catch up with friends and family from time to time. Just to keep a smile on their faces. And yours of course.

7.    Caffeine!

Last, but certainly not least… COFFEE! It’s the only thing that will keep you awake during your early tute/lecture.
