A tinder profile that features photos of Victorian fire fighters has been outed as fake by the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB).
The MFB has attempted to shut down the fake profile, which includes stolen photos from a kindergarten, an American family and the Herald Sun.
The individual responsible for setting up the account could face a whopping fine of more than $9300 for illegally impersonating the fire fighters.
The incident brings to question how many users on Tinder sport fake pictures and profiles.
With the app boasting 9.6 million daily active users, how many of these profiles present an accurate picture of the person behind the iPhone?
