Airport pollution forces locals out of the water

Victoria’s Environmental Protection Authority has warned residents in Melbourne’s west to avoid fishing or swimming in many of the region’s waterways, due to contamination from the nearby Melbourne Airport.

Community activist Helen van den Berg says it’s time the airport addressed the catastrophic impact it is having on the environment.
