We caught Erin Haynes briskly walking along the Southbank river on a glorious and unusually sunny winter Melbourne afternoon.
The 19-year-old lives in one of the apartment buildings nestled along the south side of the Yarra River.
Ms. Haynes loves living in the area because “there’s always something happening, it’s very exciting”.
She doesn’t have a favourite part of Southbank, though cites the area’s rich café culture as something she takes regular advantage of.
Ms. Haynes is a student by day, studying an Associate Degree in Fashion and Textile Merchandising at RMIT’s Brunswick campus.
Though she’s unsure exactly where in the industry she’ll end up, she’ll receive mentorship advice from fashion industry professionals later in her course.
