As a child, Nanou used to steal her brother’s building tools and her mother’s kitchen utensils to make “crazy sculptures.” Years later, after falling in love with an Aussie boy and moving to Australia, she continues to pursue art.
Nanou is influenced by Asian artistic styles and loves exploring new shapes, lines and textures. It’s not an easy life, says the petite Belgian, but she says she has no choice, she must make art.
