The Vinnies Soup Van

In 2012 Melbourne suffered its wettest winter since 1996 and this year the harsh winds and biting cold will reemerge once again.

Winter is coming and so are the groups of homeless Melburnians who seek refuge, food and support from wherever they can.

Every night in Footscray, a St Vinnies soup van arrives at Whitten Oval at 8pm. Many people volunteer to lend a hand for those in need.
