Environmental advocate and former US vice-president Al Gore is currently in Australia in an effort to raise awareness for the Paris climate change summit later this year.
Gore has met with labour led Victorian, South Australian and Queensland governments to discuss economic growth and renewable energy and even found time to give a presentation last night at the University of Melbourne.
“There are many people around the world that think of Australia as a leader in the community of nations, it almost always has been, and some have been frankly scratching their heads of late, wondering what has been going on,” Gore said.
