Hundreds took to the city streets, some in their lingerie and even rollerskates, for SlutWalk Melbourne 2012 to oppose placing the blame on victims of sexual assault.
This movement originated in Canada after a police officer told university students not to dress like “sluts” to avoid getting victimised or raped.
