After Senator Fraser Anning’s recent maiden speech calling for an end to Muslim migration, Muslim AFL stars Bachar Houli and Adam Saad decided to take a stand.

The opposing players joined their captains at the Richmond v Essendon coin toss in a gesture of unity. But was the move a positive protest or just grandstanding?
