Suburban Glamour

Nicolaas Oogjes heads the Melbourne based ensemble, NO ZU. With band members ranging from World’s End Press to Rat Vs Possum, the band peruse a distinctive melodic style, which has created largely unsuccessful attempts to quantify their sound. Here, the band speaks to City Journal with their own take on their sound, while explaining their focus on recurring themes like suburbia and glamour both in their sound and visual identity.
